The Winter Farmers Market @ Rutherford County Farmers Market
We are fortunate in our area to live with such natural abundance. Local farmers are a resource we’re wise to support. The Winter Farmers Market runs from 10-1 on the first and third Saturdays of each month, through April. The market meets outdoors this year but is heated for the winter months. Go get some fresh produce or some local honey and treat yourself to a healthier lifestyle while helping our local economy. Shop local, feed your farmer!

Birdies for Babies Golf Tournament at Meadowbrook Golf Club
Get out on the green for Hands of Hope, a pregnancy care service providing free pregnancy options and counseling in a confidential setting.The tournament consists of
18 holes, a cart, contest prizes, refreshments, and dinner after the tournament. Indulge your competitive spirit! There is a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place each flight, a 10,000 hole-in-one contest ($10 entry fee), a longest drive contest, and a closest to the pin contest.

Advanced “Photos by Phone” Photography Class @ Chimney Rock
We live in such a glorious place of natural beauty. If you’re a person who loves capturing it but feels like your iPhone doesn’t quite do your subject justice, join professional photographer Buddy Morrison for an interactive session and learn advanced settings and strategies for smartphone photography. Android or iPhone users are welcome. After this three-hour class you’ll have some great new skills with which to better capture the beauty you see. Be prepared to do some moderate hiking.
