💧 When Excellence Becomes a Way of Life

At Ohmstead Plumbing, we believe in showing up for our community with the same dedication we bring to every service call. Whether it’s a 2:30 AM emergency or Saturday morning soccer practice, our commitment to excellence never takes a break. For over five decades, this philosophy has guided every decision we make, every relationship we build, and every pipe we fix.

This season, we’re proud to sponsor the Ohmstead Plumbing U9 team with the Rutherford County Soccer Association. These young athletes wear our name on their maroon jerseys with pride, and they represent the same values we live by every day: teamwork, reliability, perseverance, and giving your absolute best even when nobody’s watching. When you see these kids on the field, you’re seeing the future leaders of our community in action.

Their coach? That’s Jason Goode, one of our own team members who embodies everything we stand for at Ohmstead Plumbing. Jason has been part of the Rutherford County soccer community for over 8 years, dedicating countless volunteer hours to developing young athletes and teaching them lessons that extend far beyond the soccer field. You might recognize Jason’s name from our recent customer spotlight, and there’s a reason for that.

Plumber plays soccer

Jason is the same dedicated professional who coordinated that middle-of-the-night emergency response for The Gunther Group when they faced a major plumbing crisis at 2:30 AM. Within just 20 minutes of receiving the call, Jason had our expert technician dispatched and on-site, working to prevent what could have been devastating damage to their business. But Jason didn’t stop there. He personally followed up with a 7 AM phone call the next morning to ensure everything was running smoothly and to gather feedback on our service. That’s the kind of follow-through that earned us a glowing five-star review and a customer for life.

You see, the same leadership qualities that make Jason an exceptional soccer coach are exactly what make him an invaluable member of our plumbing team. The patience he shows when teaching a young player proper footwork is the same patience he brings to educating our customers about preventing future plumbing issues. The attention to detail that helps him spot a player’s potential is the same sharp eye that helps him identify and solve complex plumbing problems before they become disasters.

From community woodworking demonstrations at local events to youth soccer fields across Rutherford County, you’ll find Ohmstead Plumbing banners supporting the activities and organizations that make our area special. When you see our name displayed at the local gym or hanging at Forest City community gatherings, know that these aren’t just marketing placements. They’re investments in the neighbors, families, and businesses that have trusted us since 1973.

plumbers in the wild

Our owner, Eric Ohmstead, didn’t just build a plumbing company. He built a legacy of community involvement that continues to this day. Every sponsorship we make, every local event we support, every volunteer hour our team members contribute, it all stems from a simple belief that strong communities are built by people who care enough to show up.

When The Gunther Group needed us in their darkest hour, we showed up. When local youth soccer teams need coaches and sponsors, we show up. When community organizations need support for their events and activities, we show up. This consistency isn’t accidental. It’s intentional, and it’s what sets us apart in an industry where many companies see customers as transactions rather than relationships.

The same attention to detail that Jason brings to coaching young players is exactly what you’ll experience when you call us for any plumbing service, big or small.
